“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Black Ancestors Museum is about healing from wounds of the past, by building better racial relationships and honoring people’s humanity. It will help all racial and ethnic groups learn about the great scientific achievements of the Ancient Black African Civilization developing tools to engage in healthy community building & social change.
The Museum will take an educational approach based on racial identity healing by linking Black communities to the great legacy of their Ancient Black African Ancestors. The experiences of racial identity healing will help to change Black people’s mindset by feeling the greatness of their Ancestors within themselves. It will center on intergenerational healing among all members of the community, all getting connected in personalizing this historical legacy.
The Museum seeks to promote education and social inclusion as the role of education in empowering Black marginalized children because they must possess a greater degree of self and group esteem to better interact with members of other races and cultures productively.
To reclaim the legacy, the impact, and the great contributions of people of African descent in World History and to get their names restored to their rightful place in the events that have shaped the History of Humanity.
To build bridges with the African Diaspora worldwide and partner organizations from Industry, government, multilateral agencies, NGOs, and civil society; providing education, advocacy, and actions on issues impacting the African Diaspora to enable their development and prosperity.
The great achievements of this Ancient Black African Civilization are safeguarded in the most important European, American, and Egyptian museums with their own Eurocentric interpretation which is very far from the Historical Truth.
